We flew in Travis AFB then went to Placerville for a days, then to Susanville for a week, then back to Placerville for another few days until the day before we left back to Hawaii.
Below are a ton of pictures from our CA trip (@130, so enjoy!)
The plane we took! It's a C-17!
Our seats were along the side of the plane, pretty interesting
He was tired and we tried letting him lay down on the floor, but he didnt stay long
He rolled off the air-matress. Thankfully I put a blanket next to him
Playing in the pool Grandma T and Papa Mikee got them
"Bot!!"
Look at that face.. We're going to be in trouble in her teen years..
Isaac "accidentally" dumped water over her head
We went Sacramento and went to the Rail Road Museum where we met up with our friends, Monika and Corry. Below are pictures from that trip, some are from our camera and some are from theirs.
A couple days later Matt and I took the kids to a place called Funderland. It's a little park with rides for kids. Isaac had a blast there (and we actually ended up going back another time as well)
On Isaac's favorite ride, The Dragon Ride! He rode this about 6 times I think!
Rose on one of the only rides she could go on by herself.
She didn't like when we took her out either haha so she
went on this one a few times.
Back and Grandma T and Papa Mikee's, the kids liked to sweep/clean the rocks
Kept them busy for hours!
Showing her belly hehe
Coloring after baths. It was still pretty light outside at 7:30pm! It's dark in HI by that time.
On our way to Susanville, we stopped in Reno to meet with my friend Samantha, her boyfriend Dan, and a few of her kids who weren't in school. We went to the Discovery Museum.
Rose stacking by colors
Matt wanted to sit in the airplane :)
Biiiig water table for kids to play in.
"walk on the clouds". It goes up to the ceiling but Isaac got maybe a 1/4th of the way up.
This was pretty neat, they got to paint on a glass window.
He accidentally got painted on, opps!
In Susanville!
Rose with Nana and Uncle Joey
Isaac was helping Grandma Lucy make dinner, such a good helper!
So Rose is having a complete meltdown/tantrum and everyone is trying to calm her down...
But they are also laughing their butt's off too! hahaha!!
And the whole reason for our trip, to see Joey graduate High School!!!!!
Yay Joey!!!
Yay!!
Isaac was blowing the horn for his Uncle Joey!
.. And everyone else too haha
Joey with mom and dad!
Me and my "little" brother!
Papa, Nana, Dad, Joey and Mom

We went and visited Erin's parents, Mike and Kathy :)
Obligatory pic in the window, like we did last time.
Below is the comparison picture, a year between!
He's grown!
Tried to get Rose to stand in in the window, but she wasn't too thrilled
She wanted down haha
Sitting with Kathy on the steps :)
Isaac liked to watch their fish, Mr. Fish
Beautiful sunset as left their place!
Rose playing on her daddy's tablet
Having a fit about...something haha
Isaac getting attacked by Grandma Lucy
I LOVE this picture of Rose! She's being chased down the hall haha
But she looks so much older then 18months here!
Isaac disappeared and we found him in Joey's room, jumping on his bed haha!
Making faces while eating
Bugging their daddy (and on his birthday too!)
Building bridges with his uncle
Resting with her uncle
Whining about something
She loved playing with his neckless!
So cute!
Playing outside
Cars driving on a road that Grandma Lucy drew for him
Such concentration!
Beautiful baby girl
Handsome boy
Grandpa Ed with his grandkids!
At a park in Reno while on our way back to Placerville
We met up with one of Matt's friends from Japan and her kids! They are now stationed in Germany though.
The Weber and Black kids!
Another picture of all the kids
Samantha, me, and Matt. Her husband wasn't able to come on this trip
Back at Funderland again, this time with Grandma T and Papa Mikee!
Another coloring night with Grandma. Looks like Isaac wanted to color in Rose's book this time
Silly boy!
On our last day there, we went to the El Dorado Fair
Of course he needed to ride the crocodile ride as it was similar to his favorite dragon ride
Bumpy slide with his daddy
And that concludes our CA trip! That night we went out to dinner at a sushi place and then we drove nearby Travis AFB to catch a flight the next day (which we almost missed because they changed the time by an hour earlier but thankfully we realized and got there in time).
Oh, we did find out one more thing the night before we left CA...
Yup, I'm pregnant with baby #3!
The last few days while in CA I wasn't feeling very well and I wasn't sure if I was pregnant, nervous about traveling, or coming down with something. Took a test to at least narrow it down and it came out positive right away. We were a bit shocked that I got pregnant as fast I did too. Due date is around mid-February 2014! We told family on the 4th of July. (This is also why this post has taken me forever to make, because most nights I'm feeling really sick or just really exhausted!).
Eventually I will get all caught up with pictures taken AFTER the CA trip, but that will be another post probably in a week or so.
