Baby #3 Growth Update

I had my third scan of the baby yesterday to check on the growth and the baby's stomach is back to measuring small again (it's in the 7th percetile and they would like it to be in the 10th or more). Because of this they are going to start having me go in twice a week (starting next week) for NST (non-stress-test) scans to make sure me and baby are doing ok. The blood flow to the cord still looks good and the baby is measuring at an estimated 2lbs 15oz. Baby is currently breech but I'm not too worried about that just yet as we do have time for the baby to flip.

Here are some pics from the baby scan in November that I never posted and a few from yesterday:

Baby's legs crossed nice and tight, so we couldn't even see the gender if we wanted too! haha

And for fun, here is a pic of me from earlier this week when I turned 30 weeks :)

I'll update more if things change/happen. Hopefully nothing happens for a while though!

Baby Black #2 has a gender... we think!

So today is not only my little brothers 16th birthday (Happy Birthday again to Joey!), but we had our anatomy scan today for our second little bundle of joy.

The doctor spent about a half hour doing all the measurements and stuff, torturing me because I really wanted to know the gender (not to mention I had to pee haha!!!).

Finally, the tech said "Well.. I THINK it's a girl because I don't see any boy parts. But sometimes they could be hidden, so I dont want to say for sure." She kept looking and I saw the three distict lines between the legs, which usually signafies a  girl. So I guess we are having a little GIRL!! :) :) :)

 Gender picture
No visible boy parts and I still see three lines.
Hopefully no surprises in the delivery room!

 Skeletore face shot.. lol

So now I guess we have the task of picking out a name,  huh? Wish us luck! Also, we'll be doing what we did with Isaac.. not saying the real name until she's born. We gotta keep SOMETHING a surprise!

Lots of food ~ Updated Ultrasound

Isaac
This post will be dedicated to food.. and how Isaac loves to eat it :)

Here is Isaac, eating corn on the cob. He LOVES it!

Pasta is another favorite in our house.
We usually try and get noodles that are easily to
pick up for him, but this past week, we didn't have any.

Watching the cookies bake in the oven..
They were banana-chocolate chip ones :)

And occasionally, we take a break from eating...
and do a bit of reading

We also like to hang out with friends :)

Baby #2
I had my dating ultrasound today. They told me to arrive early for paperwork, but I arrived a bit too early and they took me back for the ultrasound before Matt was even able to get there. I was done before my actual appointment time lol!

I was far enough along that I had a regular abdominal ultrasound. The baby is measuring 9 weeks exactly today, which makes my official due date...

December 20th, 2011!!!

Here are a few pictures from the session today. Also, while I didn't get to hear the heartbeat, I was informed that it was 187 :)

That's really about it. I probably wont start doing belly pics for a few more weeks, as I am really not showing right now. I am also trying to come up with a creative way to do them this time so at the end, I can make a cool progression video.

A Trip to California ...and a bit of news!

This past weekend the three of us flew to California for Erin and Dan's wedding.

We left on Thursday evening, which took two flights to make it all the way there. The first flight was 4 or so hours, and we flew from Baltimore to Salt Lake City. It was around Isaac's bedtime, but of course he wouldn't sleep. When he finally did fall asleep, he was only out for about a half hour before the food cart came by again and woke him up :( He was very upset because he couldn't get confortable on either Matt or I's lap (he didn't get his own seat this trip).

We landed in Salt Lake City and had about an hour before our next flight. Isaac got a second wind and was running around everywhere! Poor kid had some pent up energy. You could see the weariness on the other passengers faces, hoping he wont be screaming on the flight the whole way. On the second flight to Sacramento, the third person in our row didn't show up, so Matt sat at the window and I sat on the isle and Isaac was in the middle.

He eventually fell asleep, but this was a short flight and he was woken up, yet again.

We got our luggage then a taxi to our hotel. He fell asleep again on the drive there, only be woken up when taken out of the carseat. We finally were able to go to bed around 11pm or so CA time. He did wake up around 4 and 5am (equivilant to 7-8am in Maryland), but luckily he fell back asleep for a few more hours.

The next day (Friday), Grandma T met up with us at the hotel in Sacramento. We drove to Manteca (had In-n-Out when we arrived, yum!) then went to Dan's parents house to hang out for a bit.

Hanging out int he hotel room... someone's still a little sleepy

We then found a box of dress-up stuff, so we had a bit of fun with that

 Harry Potter glasses

 Grass skirt

 Fireman's hat

Later that night, they held a dinner a local restaurant. Grandma T stayed with Isaac at the hotel while Matt and I went. Of course, Isaac fell asleep within 10 minutes of us leaving and was passed out the whole time. Poor grandma didn't get any playing time in!

We moved him to his crib, where he slept pretty good until 7am.

Saturday, May 7th, was the wedding day! We waited for Papa Mikee to come and meet up with us at the hotel, then we went across the parking lot to get some breakfast. We basically hung out in the hotel room until it was time to check out and leave for the wedding (and we squeezed in a little nap for Isaac as well).

Below are pictures of Isaac at the wedding. He spent a lot of time with his new buddy, Kaleb (my friend, Rhonda's, 11month old son).

One of the only pictures of the three of us. Thanks Monika for the picture!

They had this photobooth area where were able to take funny pics. I will have to find them and scan them in and post them next time.

We hung out a bit after the wedding, then had to say our good-bye's. We drove to Placerville to spend our last night in CA at Grandma T and Papa Mikee's house.

The next day was Mother's Day.

That was also the day we announced that.....

I am pregnant!

 Taken 4/26/11

We were trying to find the right time to tell everyone. We wanted to wait until after my first OB appointment, but that wasn't going to be until after our trip to CA, and we thought it would be a great Mother's Day gift for everyone :)

Other then announcing that bit of exciting news, the rest of the day was spent flying back home to Maryland. We got home around 10pm or so (Isaac slept VERY little the whole day). We were so exhausted! Isaac even slept until about 9:30am the next day!

I had my first OB appointment on Monday, where they did an ultrasound to find out a tentative due date, which is December 18, 2011!

I got a referral to go to another place to get the real due date, which I will post after that happens :)

That's about it for now! Goodnight everyone!
