51 Weeks - Cousin Jimmy visits and then... practice smash cake!

This past weekend, Isaac's cousin, Jimmy, stayed here at Grandma Deb and Papa Joe's house. They did pretty well together, which made for some great photo opportunities, especially since we realized that the jammies Jimmy brought over were the same pattern as a pair that Isaac has.

Since Isaac's birthday party is this Saturday (February 19th), I decided to let Isaac practice smashing a cake.. Sure, it was mostly for my enjoyment, and also to take pictures of, but he had fun too, so I didn't see the harm :) We are also not able to get professional pictures for his 1st birthday, so I looked online at picture ideas and this was one of them.

less then ONE WEEK until Isaac turns one!!!!

Jan 17-19th - Grandma Betty's and the Observatory

After we spent a few days at Nana's house, we went to Grandma Betty's house (my mom's mom) for a few days as well.

When we got there, we were also met up with Grandma Ann (my mom's stepmom) and Aunt Venetta and we celebrate Christmas by opening up presents and having some yummy food.
