Goodbye Maryland

Well, today is our last night in our house in Maryland. The movers come tomorrow to start packing up the house. They plan on packing up the place Monday and Tuesday and then loading everything up on the truck Wednesday. Thursday the cleaning lady comes and also the steam cleaners for the carpets. Matt does his final out-processing on Friday and then we head off to Deb and Joe's house, where the kids are currently at. The house has been way too quiet without them! But it has been nice to be able to get everything ready.

Last weekend we went over to the Ling's for one last dinner get-together. We're sad because we've lived near each other since Hawaii and the kids are good friends too. There is always Skype though :)

Noah, Liam, and Isaac playing outside before dinner

Liam was very happy to see Rose and gave her a hug

 Just walking around

Rose was very happy to discover this huge ball!

The next day, we met up with them at Kinder Farms Park. It was beautiful outside :)

 Nice picture of Liam

Rose loved going down the slide, face first!

The last time she went down the slide, she tried
getting up before she was done moving and busted her top lip :(

 Playing

Playing together

And here is a video of Rose going down the slide

This past week was also Isaac's last week going to Daycare at Miss Laurie's. Here's a cute picture of the two of them on Friday.

And here are two random pictures from later this week:

Both kids reading books after dinner one night

We took out the carseats from the van so we could
take it to the port to get shipped out, and they wanted
to sit in each others carseats. Silly kids.

On Friday, the van got dropped off at the Port of Baltimore where it will get shipped to Hawaii. That night, Deb and Joe came up and on Saturday morning they took the kids back to their home in PA. It was eerily quiet after they left. Saturday I went over to the Rojas for dinner (Matt was sick and couldn't go, poor guy). It was really nice :) The original plan was that the kids would still be here and we would get a picture of Josiah and Jackson with Isaac and Rose. We weren't able to get that picture so we'll just have to photoshop something together haha

This next week will be busy but starting Friday we will be in PA. We'll be there until the 27th when we fly out to CA! Let the adventure, begin!

41 Weeks

This little guy is just doing more and more things it seems. He's using everything as if it were a push toy and walking around the house (boxes, laundry basket, his rocking chair, Matt's computer chair..) and he's having fun keeping himself occupied with toys like his cars and ball (he LOVES his bouncy ball!).

He is also eating table foods and he likes to feed himself. Lately we have just been cutting up pieces of whatever we are eating and letting him eat it. He loves it. It's very messy, but he's eating and enjoying himself so that's all that matters.  On Saturday, we went to Bucca Di Beppo (Italian family restaurant) and he was eating meatballs and pasta. He also likes to drink from a cup with a (regular) straw, and does really well with it too.

He also obtained two more teeth! We thought it was just one, but Matt found another one that had already broken through. One of them is a top, middle tooth on the right. And then one that Matt found was the left,  bottom side tooth. No pictures because whenever we try to look in there, he shuts his mouth and keeps it tightly closed haha. We only found these other ones due to playing around and tickling him.

Yesterday I took him to a little park area and we met up with Liv and Noah. He couldn't really do much, but he liked standing, holding onto things, and looking around. When we got home, he passed out!

We also put up our tree yesterday too. He couldn't really do much but he liked playing with the lights when they were on the floor. We ordered him a stocking and it should be here soon, then we will put all three of ours.

All I have to do now is finish up Christmas shopping (only 2.5 weeks until Christmas!!!)

Here are pictures (about 40 of them)!

Eating diced carrots (and making a mess!)

 Playing with his toy car

Checking out the Christmas tree lights
I have no idea why he is making this face, but it's really funny!

Our Christmas tree! We hope that next year we can get either a real one or a full size artificial one :)

 Checking out the ornaments

 "Helping" with the laundry

 Walking around with the basket

Pulling clothes out and having a blast!

Eating Banana's!
 At the park with Noah

Passed out after the park The doggy was tired too I guess haha!

Having fun under the table with his sippy cup

 Playing with his shadow

He found some plastic wrapping of some sort and had a blast just crinkling it up

I love this picture of Matt and Isaac :)

Well, that's about all there is for now!
