A quick trip the aquarium

We really didn't do too much this past weekend. It's been so hot lately. We decided to take a quick trip to the Baltimore Aquarium on Sunday though, just to get out of the house for a bit. Apparently, lots of other people had this idea too because the place was packed.

We let Isaac walk around on his own this time, instead of putting him in the backpack (they dont allow strollers, but you can trade in your stroller for a backpack to carry kids instead). He had a lot of fun walking around, though after about an hour he'd had enough.

I do have a few pictures, not a lot. It's dark at the aquarium and with so many people there it was hard to take pictures too. But here are the ones that I did take that were post-worthy :)

 At the front, they have these bubble poles. Isaac loved them.

I do a few more random ones from yesterday and today. Isaac's newest thing is to climb into his stroller and sit there haha. 

Matt took a hold of the camera and started taking picture after picture. Below are few of the cute/funny ones that came out of it. Isaac was saying "cheese" the whole time too haha

That's all there is for this update. We are thinking of possibly going to the zoo this up coming weekend so we should hopefully have more picture. This is all pending on the weather and if we will melt or not haha.

As for my pregnancy, everything is going well as far as I can tell. Just one week and two days until we find out if Isaac will have a little brother to beat up or a little sister to protect :)

Warm weather, Grandma Deb, and the Aquarium

So Isaac survived his first week at his new daycare. He is still adjusting (he will only take one of two naps and sometimes he doesn't eat as much as he usually does), and he also has a cough and runny nose, but he is getting better. He even learned how to sign "more" in sign language, which is something that his daycare provider taught him. I will have to ask her what other signs she is working on so I can keep them up at home too. 

This weekend, Grandma Deb came to visit, which has been very nice especially since we have had some really nice weather.

Isaac is walking much more now, and I tried to get many picture of him doing so. He will go across the whole room without falling now, though sometimes he will still just take a few steps and then go to crawling.

On Saturday it was warm enough to go outside and play on the slide and swing set we have.

Today (on Sunday) we went to the Aquarium in Baltimore. It was getting colder outside, but inside was nice and warm. What's cool at the aquarium is that you check in your stroller and then you check out a backpack that you put your kid in. They do this because there are too many stairs/escalators to have strollers.

Tomorrow Isaac has his 1yr appointment (only a month late haha). We'll finally get an accurate weight and height measurement! I'll update with the results!
