Jan 13-15th - Flying and Nana's house

We flew to CA very early on January 13th. We had to get up at 2:45am to make sure we were in the lobby for the shuttle by 3:30am. Isaac was such a good sport, even smiling and babbling all throughout. He did end up passing out while riding the shuttle though, which I don't blame him.

We got to the airport around 4am and we had to wait for the agriculture check for luggage to open before we could check in our bags, and they didn't open until 5. Wasn't so bad since Isaac slept most of the time and then was pretty happy after waking up.

 On the plane, we sat in the middle row which contained three seats, so Isaac sat between us. Here he is with daddy, babbling about something.

 A little before take off, he passed out again though. He napped off and on, played with toys, ate, and bounced between us.

He even napped during one of the in-flight movies, so I was able to watch some it before he woke again.

After a 5 hour flight, we were in CA!

Welcome to California, Isaac!

We got our luggage and then plan was then to get the rental car and then pick up Grandma Lucy, Grandpa Ed and Uncle Joey, who had a flight arriving an hour after hours. Well, they had delays on their end so we ended up going to Nana's on our own and they would meet us there later (turned out they didn't get to Nana's due to flight delays and then LA traffic until 8:30pm that night. Booo!)

Below are some pictures from that first night. Lucy's parents (Abuelo and Abuelo) also came by so Isaac had two set of Great-Grandparents there!

We had a great time while visiting and Isaac did really well with meeting all these people. He even learned how to say "Nana" while there too :)
