Merry Christmas!
I hope everyone had a wonderful and joyful holiday!
As with Christmas Eve, our Christmas day was also low-key. We got up around 6:30 and started the gift-opening process around 7. Isaac still isn't too sure about this whole 'un-wrapping' thing yet, so he really wasn't too excited. He liked the toys he got, after we took them out of their boxes, but the act of opening gifts and getting excited about it just wasnt there, probably because this is his real first introduction to this. I am sure that in the following years to come, our Christmas's will never be this relaxed again for a VERY long time!
Isaac also has a pretty bad cold going on right now too, which did not help. It makes it tired, grouchy, cranky, and clingy, so that was another reason why we took our time today. All in all, I think it took almost 3 hours to open all of his gifts.. not that he had that many, but stopped to play with new toys, eat breakfast, take a nap, and work our way through the pile.
Below are pictures throughout the morning.

Playing with his MyPal Scout dog. He was attacking it like he does his panda bear.
Playing with his gift from Santa!
Too much excitement for today!
I tried to get a picture of him in his Christmas vest, but he just wasn't having it. He wasn't feeling good and just wanted to be held :(
We also went to the beach today. The weather was really hot and kinda muggy and we figured that we probably wont have warm weather for Christmas again, so we took advantage. Isaac had fun playing in the water, but after about 20 minutes, he was done. We went home, he passed out, then he got a bath and dinner. Played with toys some more and then went off to bed. I really hope he starts feeling better soon :(
Tomorrow we'll probably start putting away the Christmas stuff and start sorting things to take with us to CA and PA. I'm looking forward to seeing family again!! :)
