We finished shopping for Isaac over the weekend, though I still need to get a few small things for the stocking and I still need to finish shopping for Matt.. but other then that, we're doing pretty good! We even wrapped gifts on Saturday night while Isaac slept. I also want to make cookies this upcoming weekend and give some to friends and neighbors...we need to empty our pantry and we have stuff to make cookies, so might as well, right?
On Saturday, we shipped Theo out to Pennsylvania. We had his kennel for a few weeks and every day we would put a handful of dog treats in there so that he wouldn't associate it to anything bad. I tried not to stress about how much HE was probably stressing out... because for a dog that is scared of people is now being handled by strangers and going somewhere completely different from what he is used to... I was worried he was going to be truamatized! But he seems to be doing really well. He is staying at Matt's moms place until we get there and we even skyped with them yesterday after they got in. He's really not showig any fear to his mom at all and walking around the house without running away from anyone. He is getting along with the other two dogs and even the cat! (Matt and I really worried about the cat...) He's not liking the snow/cold too much, so he only goes outside to do his business and then hussles back in. We'll be investing in a doggie sweater and possibly booties too.
There are not many pictures to post from this week, but I will be doing another post either later today or tomorrow with lots more pictures :)
The day before Theo left for PA, we watched a movie with him.. Marmaduke. He watched the whole movie (mostly from his bed, but there were some parts where he was right at the TV to see the doggies up close)
Bye bye Theo! We'll miss you but we'll see you soon!!!
He didn't want to go inside the doggie kennel...
Doing what he does best... eating!
He passed out on Matt like this..
Love this sleeping baby!
