Our little Rose is now 3 months old!!
She kept trying to take off the onsie
sticker, so I stuck it on her head haha.
And since everything is in bloom, it also means that the weather over here in Maryland has been really nice lately, so we get to outside and play more! It has even been warm enough to wear short sleeve shirts and no jackets some of the time!
Mowing the lawn
I titled this picture "Bam-Bam + Dennis the Menace = I'm in trouble!"
Playing with his T-Ball set
Isaac swinging, Rose chilling in the
shade, and Theo chasing his ball
Last Wednesday night, Isaac decided he wasn't going to sleep. He was awake in between Rose waking up and around 3am I asked him what he wanted. He said "Downstairs'. I told him no and that it was still bedtime. Around 5am he was STILL awake, so I decided to just give in and we went downstairs. Around 6am, this happened:
I tried putting him back in bed, but he had a fit so I told him he wasn't allowed to sleep until nap time after lunch. He barely made it....
Yup, he passed out at the table. He finally took a nap that day (it was a really short one though. That night he slept all night)
Meanwhile, little Rose was playing on her activity mat and chewing on toys
It got hot in the house, so I just had Rose in a white onsie. I told Matt that because she isn't wearing anything girly, she could pass for a boy. So he wrote her name on the onsie. It's still there after it got washed too haha
I love this onsie. It says "Sweet like mommy" :)
Trying out a new headband/bow I bought her.
Then Isaac wanted to try it on too....
Can you say "blackmail material"? haha!
Last Saturday was St. Patrick's Day. Of course I had to get the kids dressed in green and take pictures before outfits got ruined :)
She didn't have a specific St. Patty's Day outfit,
so I made one with the stuff I did have :)
Wearing a new shirt that has green in it
Both kids on St. Patrick's Day
She reminds me of Twink from Rainbow Brite haha
While I was taking pictures, Matt was out getting wood because we are building a raised garden bed. When he got back, the planks of wood needed to be painted and we let Isaac help out after his nap.
He got some splatter on his face
The next day Matt built the raised garden bed.
We still need to put in dirt and plants/seeds,
which we will do in a few weeks.
Oh ya, he learned how to open the sliding glass door.
Rose in the bumbo.
Next week, the four of us are going to California to see my family and celebrate my 30th (!!!!) birthday. I got one of my gifts early though.. a Beco Butterfly 2 baby carrier! I had been wanting to get a new carrier ever since I read articles about how baby's legs and hips should be positioned a certain way for their hips to set correctly, and the baby carrier I had wasn't designed to accommodate that. What's nice is that we can use this carrier with Isaac as well, since it goes up to 45lbs. It can be worn on the front or back too. I got it yesterday and just had to try it out!
I also tried it out with Isaac, but he was too wiggly so I didn't get him right. I will have to try again later.
I'm really happy with it and we got it just in time for our trip to California!
I may or may not update before our trip to CA, so don't be surprised if this doesn't get updated until after we return (We leave Monday, 3/26 and return Tuesday. 4/3).
