Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday Dear Isaac
Happy Birthday to you!
365 days... 52 weeks.... 12 months...
However you want to count it, it has been a WHOLE YEAR since Isaac has been brought into this world.
Happy Birthday little man!
I love you so much!
So many milestones have already happened and more are yet to come. He is very, very close to walking. In fact, I think he can, he just doesn't realize it yet. He will litterally RUN while holding/dragging onto his push car and go all around the house. Today, he was standing and holding onto a remote control and I was tugging the remote and he was walking forward while I tugged, but when I let go, he dropped to the floor. He'll get it eventually though!
He's talking a bunch more now too. He learned "Deb" the other day. And now he meow's at the cat when he see's her (usually right after she meow's at him). I also got him to say "poop" a few times! "Book" is also a word he will attempt to say whenever I show him one and say the word.
He loves to play with cars. Anything with wheels for that matter. He'll push them around and keep himself entertained.
He blows kisses too! I love this. I'll see him on the other side of the room, or office door, and blow him a kiss and I'll hear/see him do it back. It's so adorable!
Here are a few more from this morning
He got his first hair cut the day of his birthday party, and of course we pictures to show of it.
Some "Before"...
"During"...
He wasn't happy having his arms held down, but he kept reaching for the scissors
Hair lock for his baby book
and "After"!
You can really see the difference in his hair length in his birthday party pictures (and even in the first picture posted on this entry).
He also got to play.. or really sit in... the snow today! When we first got here to Pennsylvania, we didn't have all the things he needed, like boots and waterproof gloves. We finally collected it all and then.. the snow melted! So we waited for the next snow fall, which happened the night before his 1st birthday (last night). We got about 10 inches or so!
So we bundled him up, which he hated. He was born in Hawaii where he could live in a diaper if he so wished, and now he's being layered on with jackets, pants, gloves, boots and a hat (the hat didn't stay on.. he kept taking it off). Once he got outside though, he was too curious about the snow to care about all the layers on him...
The jacket fits him well when he stands up, but when he sits, it rides up and it covers his whole face.. so we had to unzip it. We were only outside for 5 minutes though.
I love the last picture.. he's looking back like "what WAS that stuff??" hahahaha...
