I can't believe that in one week, I return to work! It's bitter-sweet really... I'm gonna miss Isaac when he's at daycare all day, but at the same time I'm looking forward to getting back to work and getting back into a routine of some sort.
Isaac has been doing really good lately! Usually happy during the day unless hungry or tired. He loves attention and craves it. He can be in his swing, bouncer, or on the floor and as long as you are with him and talk to him, he's happy as can be! He *almost* giggles/laughs! He's so close!!!
He does have a "witching hour" though. Usually around 6 or 7pm he gets incredibly cranky and tired and basically cries/whines the whole time until we get him ready for bed. If it's bath night, he stops all that and enjoys his bath, but the moment his jammies are zipped up, he's wanting to be fed and NOW haha. He's been sleeping better too! On days where he doesn't nap a lot, he will sleep from about 9pm till 4am! That's 7 hours straight!!! I can usually get him back to bed for a half hour or so, then bring him to bed with me for another hour. It works well so that next week its not a huge transition having to get up early to get him to daycare.
Mothers Day was a pretty good day. We went bowling in the morning with the Lings. Isaac did well until the end of our second game when he had had enough excitement and needed to nap. So Matt bowled for the two of us for a few frames until the game was done. Then that afternoon we ate lunch at the Military Resort with the Lings as well as our friend Lisa and her daughter, Abbie. The rest of the day was just relaxing around the house.
I don't have time to load up pictures, as its that "witching hour" I was talking about and Isaac is getting fussy, but here is a cute video of Isaac getting "lectured" by daddy. It's so cute!
I'll try and post actual pictures tomorrow, pending how Isaac does during the day :)
