OK, now that that is done with, here is actual update :)
Thing's are going well. We are still trying to get a good nighttime routine going (heck, even a good daytime routine that will help set up a good nighttime one). There are times when he naps and eats like a champ during the day but at night, he's fussy and cranky and just wont sleep and has issues breast feeding (which makes for a very cranky mommy and daddy). We're trying some anti-gas stuff to see if that helps and I cant really see that big of an improvement to be honest. But I will give it a few more days. I would try and keep him up during the day but it seems that the way his mind works is that if he is awake, it is time to eat... so even if he just ate and he wakes up a half hour later, he wants to eat some more, and if we don't feed him, we hear about it! Though there are rare times where he just going with the flow (see the pictures above) and I am hoping we get more and more those as he gets older.
I have also been trying to set up a routine where I will pump enough milk during the day so that we have bottles ready for the middle of the night. He drinks those faster and falls asleep faster with bottles.. or at least he did. Last night I gave him 2oz bottles (which before was plenty) and he was STILL hungry. I think he is going through a growth spurt though.
Also, we have our first visitor coming today! Grandma Lucy should be here within the next hour or so and will be here for a whole week! Then in about 2ish weeks, Grandma T and Papa Mikee will be here, followed closely by Grandma Deb! He's gonna get so spoiled!
