Can't believe it is already mid-February... just two more months until we need to be in Hawaii, how crazy is that? Time is flying by a little too fast for my liking.
We're still waiting on official orders so we haven't bought plane tickets or finalized our CA trip plans. Hopefully in the next week we get them.
The kids are doing good. Rose is starting to walk a little more and Isaac got a haircut that makes him look like a 3yr old, which is good since his birthday is next Friday (Oh my God! his birthday is next Friday!).

This weekend we are heading up to Pennsylvania to celebrate both Isaac and Isabella's birthdays at a combined birthday party. Should be fun! I'll (try to) post pictures next week or the week after, after Isaac's birthday party here in Maryland.
The kids have been getting a healthy dose of grandparents these past few weeks. Last Friday to Tuesday, Grandpa Black (Terry) and Grandma Cindy came to visit. We gave them a jam-packed long weekend, with trips to DC to see some museums and then to the Air and Space Museum in Virginia.

On Sunday, Terry and I took Isaac to Kinder Farms where we met up with the Lings and the kids played for a bit before they came over for dinner at our place.

On Monday we went to Isaac's favorite place, the Air and Space Museum in Virginia.

On Tuesday, Isaac got really sick and complained about his ears hurting. I took him to urgent care where he had a 103.6 fever and diagnosed with ear infections in both ears. They gave him meds and a popsicle while there and the fever went down a good amount and he was back to running around. This pic was taken when we were waiting for the doctor.

Not many pictures though since we're just hanging out...been too cold out to really do anything fun, plus the kids both have coughs, Isaac has his ear infection, and I have a cold now too.
