Halloween 2013!

Another Halloween has come and gone. The kids were really looking forward to it this year. Rose got all excited every time she saw a ghost, pumpkin or witch and had to make sure to point them out whenever she saw one. Isaac kept going back and forth if he was scared of things or not (he even said he wasn't going to Trick or Treating but changed it later when he found out his friends were going).

Here are pics leading up to Halloween and of Halloween night.

First up is pics from the Boo Bash that we went to at the community center on base.

"Dash" and "Woody" posing for the camera.

 These boys are so silly

Rose chose her Minnie Mouse costume for tonight.

 Playing with the balloons

This face is waaaaay to funny!

She kept holding onto the little charm on the dress

Pics of just around the house.
He got Halloween playing cards in the mail that he was trying to make into an "S".

 New letter magnets too

Rose had picked out toy at the store the other day and it was a little tiara with clip on earrings. She loved the earrings! Such a little girl!

Rose climbed into the box and Isaac and her pretended it was a train.

 Chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga….

Choo choo!

Halloween!

Helping take the "pumpkin guts" out. This was the night before Halloween.

He actually put his hand in this year! The previous he wouldn't do it haha

Our ghost on the white pumpkin the kids picked out

We got enough candy to hand out that it barely fit in the 5gal Home Depot bucket!

Isaac and Rose, ready to Trick or Treat!
Isaac is Dash from The Incredibles and Rose is Sofia from Sofia the First :)

Isaac. His mask kept shifting so he ended up taking it off

I think she was saying Trick or Treat haha

 My little Princess

Isaac and his buddy Berkley dressed as Batman (he even did the voice and everything!)

At the end of the night, this was all the candy we had left from our 5gal bucket.. I say we bought just enough!

Trick or Treating went very well. Both kids were troopers and walked the whole time we were out (about an hour) which is a good thing since I didn't even bother to bring a stroller. I got tired out before the kids did haha. Isaac, who had been telling me he didn't want to go because he was scared, ended up not being scared of anything, even the houses that were dark/scary while walking up to them. Rose surprised me by how well she was willing to walk and hold my hand. Her tiara she was wearing kept slipping down her face and she would stop, push it back up, and keep on walking. I tried taking it off she wouldn't have to get bothered by it, but she wouldn't let me. These kids are getting so big!

Speaking of big, here is an updated belly picture of me with baby #3! I am 24weeks along in this picture:

That's all for now! Hope everyone else and a safe and fun Halloween!

Anatomy Scan for Baby #3

So after almost 23weeks pregnant, I finally had my anatomy scan. The first thing we told the ultrasound Tech was that we didn't want to know the gender, which she was very willing to accommodate for us (she didn't even write it down in the charts so that it won't accident slip by my OB at my appointments). The baby was very active during the whole thing, constantly kicking and moving around. She got great images of the heart and she said the heart looked very healthy, as did the blood flow from the cord. The baby had a heartbeat of 147 and weighs an estimated 1lb already.

There is one small concern though. The baby's stomach is measuring about 6 days behind the rest of the body (such as head and hips area) making the baby's stomach only in the 8th percentile. Baby's need to be in at least the 10th percentile for them not to worry. I go back on Nov 14th for an updated ultrasound to be done to remeasure and see how things are progressing. If the stomach is growing, then the baby is probably just on the small side, but if it's not, then there might be something wrong such as the baby isn't getting what it needs from the placenta or it has IUGR

There is also another possibility that I am not as far along as I thought I am, since I never did get an dating ultrasound in the beginning (the ultrasound tech was baffled as to why they didn't schedule me one since my cycles are very irregular. I was told by my OB and registration nurse that they just go by my LMP either way).

So keep fingers crossed that the baby starts growing properly, otherwise I will probably have to have ultrasounds every 2-4wks until they decide the baby isn't gaining anything from me and decide to induce before my due date.

Here are pictures from the scan. Most are profile pictures since we couldn't get any "down below" haha.

Skeletal shot of the baby (ready for Halloween?? haha)
