Fourth of July!

Last week was the 4th of July. We went to the Ling's house to have dinner and hang out. The kids all had lots of fun :)

They were wearing glow in the dark bands on their 

hands and feet so we could see them in the dark

I don't have any pics of the actual fireworks show (we could barely see them anyways). Isaac and Noah are so fun together now though :)

So I was supposed to submit this blog entry on Monday and completely forgot... I was going to add more pictures and another video or two, but again, I forgot haha!

We're heading out today to go camping with Matt's family and will be back Sunday. Wish us luck! Hopefully I have lots of fun pictures to share when I return :)

Couple weekends ago, we stayed at a hotel for a few nights because the fumes from the finish for the floors was really strong, plus we couldn't step on it at all. We stayed at the Hyatt and the first night there, Matt and Isaac took advantage of the pool there. The next day, the kids and I went to the Ling's house to hang out, play, and go to the Navy pool.

Hotel life was definitally not for us though... we were very glad to be back home. Here are more pics of the kids:

Last Friday, Matt's work held a family picnic gathering on base so the kids and I met Matt over there. It was very hot, in the 100's, but thankfully there was a breeze and people were smart enough to bring kiddie pools and even this big blow-up play area that has a pool and water slide. There was even an ice-cream truck there for a few hours!

it was basically like solid ice, not loosely-shaven. 

But I bet it felt great on her teething gums and helped cool her off!

Now that Rose is bigger, they get bath time together :)

That's all there is! Tomorrow is 4th of July and we're going to the Ling's house to hang out, have good food, and watch fireworks :)
