36-37 Weeks - picture dump!

So I realized that I posted pictures from Halloween, but not pictures of anything else from that week. Oops! So this will probably be a picture dump at the end!

As for an update, all is well here! Isaac was a little sick Friday and Saturday, but he's back to his normal self :) Last week he started going to his new room at daycare.. now he's finally with babies his own age and older (instead of being one of the older ones in the room). Monday - Wednesday he was pretty unhappy but they said that Thursday and Friday he did much better. I'm hoping it continues to be good day for him :)

He's more "table food" now a days. He had some pancake over the weekend and he's had pasta, meatloaf, bread/rolls, steamed/mashed veggies and fruits. Lots of stuff

He's crawling EVERYWHERE and getting into everything. His favorite thing is to play with Theo's food bowl (he hasnt discovered the water bowl yet, thankfully) and he finally figured out where the stairs are, so we need to make sure we put up the babygate more often. He climbs/stands everywhere.. couch, recliner, computer desk chair, TV tray, wall, window... everything!

I'm not sure who all of you know this, but in January we are leaving the island going to Maryland! On the way there, we are stopping in CA for a week to visit family and friends and then we're going to PA where we will stay with my mother-in-law until we get a house. Theo is actually going before us... probably third week in November, because most airlines wont fly live animals if the destination is colder then 20 degrees.

But for Matt, Isaac and I, this is our plan:
Around January 6th - movers come and pack up our house; we stay at military hotel
January 13th - fly to L.A. and stay with Nana and Papa (dad, stepmom and brother will be  there too! Will hopefully see other relatives as well and possibly see some friends from Monterey)
January 17th - go to  my Grandma Betty's house (mom and stepdad will be there too! and hopefully see other relatives as well).
January 20th - leave for PA

While in LA, Matt has a list of things he wants to do - go to the Griffith Observatory, go to the Chinese Theater to see the stars hand prints, see the Hollywood sign, etc.. we're even going to try and see a live-taping of a show if possible (they're free!).

It'll be busy, but it will be fun too :)

I think that's it as far as updates go... so here are the pictures!

 Playing with the drum sticks.

Hair all brushed nicely after his bath.

He was sleepy (no he's not asleep, just resting)

Having fun in the doggy's bed

It looks like Theo is nibbling some baby fingers. Yum yum!

 Wishing to go outside

Nap time for mommy and baby

 "But where did daddy go?"

Not sad anymore because he saw the camera

 Attacking mommy

 HI THERE!

 Peek-a-boo! I see you!

Hey now, that's not yours little guy!

Holding his own bottle like a big boy

Passed out on the floor - he was playing all afternoon and then just crashed!

Our neighbor gave him this toy!

Contemplating about climbing up.. not yet little man!

Trying to grab the dogs tail

Smiling for the camera

Isaac's 1st Halloween

Isaac's first Halloween was pretty tame. We went to Target in the morning to get some candy then we carved pumpkins when we got home. We made the big one Oogie Boogie and the small one a baby-face. Both turned out really well (thanks Matt!)

We kinda hung around the house and waited for 6 to roll around. Isaac and I went to the Ling's where we joined them in walking around and having Noah go trick-or-treating. (I didn't collect any candy for Isaac/myself). Around 7 we headed home and took more pictures. Now we are winding down and getting ready for bed.

Here are some pics from tonight. Liv has more and I will get those from her later :)

35 Weeks - Pumpkin patch!

This past Sunday we kept pretty busy. In the morning we went to the Pumpkin patch (the only one on the island) and then went to the sandbar almost right after that (after a quick bottle and change of clothes).

By the way, it took forever to find a nice Fall-ish outfit for Isaac. Everywhere around here, the stores stocked with WINTER clothes. So finding something in Fall colors that is short-sleeves/shorts is basically impossible. I finally convinced Matt to go to the Outlet stores where they have a Carters and a OshKosh store. Carters, while they have very cute clothes, didn't have anything I could use. At OshKosh though, I found a pair of short-Overalls on sale. Original price was $24 (yikes) but on sale for $8. Not bad. I go to pay.. and it's $2.50! Very good find indeed!

Below are pictures from the pumpkin patch (Liv and Noah came with us).

And here are pics from the sandbar (Clarence, Liv and Noah also attended)

That's about it! This upcoming weekend: Halloween!

8 Months old!

I know I say this every month, but I can't believe how fast time is going! Isaac is already 8 months old! He's crawling EVERYWHERE and also pulling himself up on things whenever he can. He has a bucket full of toys, but he insists on going after the dog toys, the dog bowls, and any type of cord he can find. Silly baby!

Yesterday he had his doctors appointment. It was techinically his 7 month appointment (according to their appointment scheduling), but it happened the day before he turned 8 months haha.

He now weighs 18lbs 5oz and is 27.5 inches tall.

We are to start giving him proteins now, not just fruits and veggies. I also think I'm going to give him more foods that he can feed himself and less pureed foods. Should be fun!

He still only has 3 teeth (the two bottom middle ones and one top side one) but I think another 1, or 2, might be on their way. He's always gnawing on his hands and fingers and his drool amount has increased.

That's really about it. Here are a few pictures I took this morning. I tried to get him to sit next to his panda bear, but that's just impossible now...all he wants to do is attack and play with it. I don't think he'll be sitting nicely for any more monthly pictures :)

And here are a few pictures from the last day that Mr and Mrs B were visiting us (I forgot to post these before, oops!)

Well, that's about it. This weekend I am hoping to go to the pumpkin patch... weather permitting! :)
