34 Weeks

We were pretty busy this past weekend so I have a good amount of pictures to share :)

On Saturday, we went to a luau with Mr. and Mrs. B (Mark's parents). I was afraid Isaac wouldn't like it because it gets loud and when he is in a lout setting, he usually gets scared and clings to me and cries. Well, he actually did REALLY good. He even watched a lot of the performances. He also got to eat some bread, rice, and tiny pieces (very tiny) of chicken (plus baby food).

Saturday morning he was in his jumper when it got really quiet.. we looked over and he had passed out!

Yes, thats a Halloween bib. It matched his orange Hawaiian shirt, ok??! haha..
And that's MrB in the background

I love his face here! And that is MrsB next to him :)

"This is what I think of your luau!" - What Matt thinks this facial expression means.

He would not look at the camera! He was too interested in the sand.

One of the luau dancers stopped by and Isaac was staring at him, so we got a picture :)

 Lighthouse and sunset pictures

 Beautiful sunset.

We were trying to get him to stand but he wanted to sit on the ground instead haha.

Tired baby :)

So that was Saturday night. On Sunday we took Isaac, Theo, and Mr and MrsB to the sandbar. I wasn't how Isaac would be, since the lats few times we went, he wasn't too thrilled with the water just yet. But this time was totally different he had a blast!

Oh ya, he's trying stand now. Someone tell him to STOP please!

 Toes in the sand

 Not too sure about this...

 He enjoyed it!!

Crawling around in the sand, getting all sandy!

Dripping wet, but he had fun!

Passed out as soon as we got in the car.

And here is a short video of him playing

Well, that's about it!
I'll post later this week when he turns 8 MONTHS OLD! Wow!...

33 Weeks

So we have a definitally have a crawler on our hands. After my post he has just been crawling up a storm. At first he just stuck to the living room area, but now he's slowly learning he can follow us, or go venture out on his own. His favorite place is the dogs bed. Lots of goodies there, such as the dogs blanket and dog toys. Second, he finally found the dog bowls. He'll also go into the kitchen if we're in there too.

On drawback on all of this is that now when he wakes up in the middle of the night, he automatically sits up and starts climbing the bars until he's either kneeling or standing, jumping up and down until someone goes in there. We were trying to "wait 5 minutes" before going in there, but that was when he just layed there and fell back asleep. Now he wakes up completely so that doesn't really work anymore.

He is doing better at daycare though. He crawls all around the room now and chases after toys. He'll be transitioning to the other room sometime this month (the room has mostly 8-12month olds).

He hasn't learned any more new words but he does have a third tooth! This one is on the top, but it's not one of the middle ones, but the side one. Very weird (and sharp!). Once it comes out a bit more I will try and get a picture :)

Speaking of pictures.. here are some I want to share with you!

He's not a huge fan of the babygate. Then again, I dont think any baby is.

Picture of him while using the nebulizer. He's doing much better with it (as you can see).

Pictures of him standing in his crib. You can actually see his bottom two teeth in the last one (because he's whining... otherwise you dont see them at all).

Isn't he cute when he's asleep? Especially with his butt in the air!

He loves to bother his dog. Good thing Theo is so nice and will share his toys haha

That's about it! We have company arriving tomorrow (Mark's parents) and they will be here for about 6 days. We're going to a luau on Saturday so we'll probably have pictures of that :)

32 Weeks - talk and crawling, oh my!

So last weekend (10/2-10/3) a couple new things happened -- Isaac learned how to say "da da" which brought his word count up to 3 (ba-ba, ma-ma-, and da-da). He also went to his first football game. He wasn't too thrilled with it honestly haha It was very loud and clung to me so tightly for the first half hour or so. We didn't get to stay for the whole game (it was bedtime for Isaac) but it was nice to get out.

Then during this past week we have been focusing on his crawling skills. First, he learned that instead of flopping to his back when getting to his stomach, he now tucks his legs in and then pushes himself up into a sitting position. While in the sitting position, he would go onto his hands and knees and rock, then get back to sitting. We new crawling was very, very soon. And we were right!

That video was taken last night :) And yes, we are tempting him with a dog toy lol

So now this means we need to get some baby gates and start really baby proofing the living room :)

So that's all that is really happening over here (which is a lot haha). Here are some pictures from last weekend till now:

First football game (at Aloha Stadium)

 Family picture time!

He was not asleep, he was clinging for dear life and scared from all the noise :(

Finally got used to the noise but still snuggled into me for comfort.

I tried to help by covering his ears during the loud parts.

 Super baby!

 Silly boy

 Digging into his toys

 Smiling for the camera

Instead of crawling on hands and knees, he kept trying to stick his butt in the air and stand lol

That's about it!

31 weeks

Well, it's almost 32 weeks now, oops! Work has been really crazy lately and I just keep forgetting to update the blog on Mondays :(

No new development on the crawling front. He's still VERY close to doing it, but not there yet. He gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, then goes back to either sitting or laying on his tummy/flipping to his back. He'll get there, just depends on how long it will take.

He's babbling A LOT more and about two days ago he started playing with the "mmmm" sounds... so I have been hearing a lot of "ma ma" and "mom" lately haha I THINK he might actaully be associating it to me, but it's still hard to tell. He was saying "ba ba ba ba" for a few weeks now and I think he's just now starting to associate it to a bottle. The past few mornings after he wakes up, he starts babbling "ba ba" and thats usually when he gets a bottle. So who knows... And he really only says "ma ma" when whining, but he is looking at me when he does it. It's just so hard to tell!

It's finally October which means the start of the holidays.. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years... All within the next three months! I can't wait!

Also, sometime in October, Isaac will be switching rooms at Daycare. The room he is in now is for 6weeks to 6 months (and he 7 months now). The reason why he is still in this room is because the other rooms had no openings, but thats going to change soon and he will soon be transitioning to another room. I'm kind of sad because I know he loves the ladies in his current room and he'll start all over with a different sent of ladies. I'm hoping once he starts crawling he'll be happier and wont be as "needy".  Right now he's at a phase where he wants someone next to him at all times and that's kind of hard for the ladies at the daycare since they have 7 other babies in the room as well and cant give him 100% of their attention. I'm hoping when he DOES start to crawl, he can get to toys by himself and to the people he wants to see without having a fit.

He was sick the last time I blogged and while he still has a small cough, it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. He's sleeping a little better now, which means we're all sleeping a bit better. I'm hoping he starts doing 7+hrs again.. right now he's doing 4-5.

Ok, enough babbling, on to what you came here for.. pictures!

At the beach for Noah's 2nd birthday party

Watching his doggy outside

Getting him used to being bundled up... after all, it gets cold in Maryland!

Eating Gerber puffs. Banana flavor, yum!
