Rose is 6 months old!

I can't it has been half a year since Rose was born and only 6 more months until she is a year old!

Time is definitely flying by with two kids! I wouldn't change it for the world though and I love these two kids so much!

I'd also like to brag a moment and say that Rose has had only breastmilk up until this point.. not once has she needed formula! I am very proud of myself for sticking with nursing this long, and will continue to do so for a while still. Yes - she still nurses every 2-3hrs, even most nights, but that's ok. This is what is best for her so I am willing to sacrifice my sleep for her :)

Jake's birthday, Rose starts solids and sitting up, and Rolly Pollies

This last weekend, we went up to PA to celebrate Jake's 3rd  birthday!

He had a camp-out party, but we didnt stay the night (Rose has been sleeping pretty bad lately). Isaac had a blast playing with his cousins though! Rose had fun just hanging out with people and watching her crazy cousins.

In preperation for the summer, and for some swim classes we will be doing with the kids, I ordered the them some swim attire with a built in reusable diaper. Here is Rose, showing hers off (Don't have a pic of Isaac in his yet).

The rest of the pics were taken throughout the week. As you can see, Rose has mastered the art of sitting up unassisted :) We have also started introducing solids to her. So far, she has had bananas, peas, carrots, and pears (and loved them all!) Such a big girl! Ike is his usual, crazy, 2yr old self :)

Well, that's about all there is! This weekend Joe, Deb, Katie and Beth will be here visiting. Tomorrow we are going to a baseball game, then on Sunday everyone will be helping out putting down our hardwood floors! Yay!
