This past weekend the three of us flew to California for Erin and Dan's wedding.
We left on Thursday evening, which took two flights to make it all the way there. The first flight was 4 or so hours, and we flew from Baltimore to Salt Lake City. It was around Isaac's bedtime, but of course he wouldn't sleep. When he finally did fall asleep, he was only out for about a half hour before the food cart came by again and woke him up :( He was very upset because he couldn't get confortable on either Matt or I's lap (he didn't get his own seat this trip).
We landed in Salt Lake City and had about an hour before our next flight. Isaac got a second wind and was running around everywhere! Poor kid had some pent up energy. You could see the weariness on the other passengers faces, hoping he wont be screaming on the flight the whole way. On the second flight to Sacramento, the third person in our row didn't show up, so Matt sat at the window and I sat on the isle and Isaac was in the middle.
He eventually fell asleep, but this was a short flight and he was woken up, yet again.
We got our luggage then a taxi to our hotel. He fell asleep again on the drive there, only be woken up when taken out of the carseat. We finally were able to go to bed around 11pm or so CA time. He did wake up around 4 and 5am (equivilant to 7-8am in Maryland), but luckily he fell back asleep for a few more hours.
The next day (Friday), Grandma T met up with us at the hotel in Sacramento. We drove to Manteca (had In-n-Out when we arrived, yum!) then went to Dan's parents house to hang out for a bit.

We then found a box of dress-up stuff, so we had a bit of fun with that

Later that night, they held a dinner a local restaurant. Grandma T stayed with Isaac at the hotel while Matt and I went. Of course, Isaac fell asleep within 10 minutes of us leaving and was passed out the whole time. Poor grandma didn't get any playing time in!
We moved him to his crib, where he slept pretty good until 7am.
Saturday, May 7th, was the wedding day! We waited for Papa Mikee to come and meet up with us at the hotel, then we went across the parking lot to get some breakfast. We basically hung out in the hotel room until it was time to check out and leave for the wedding (and we squeezed in a little nap for Isaac as well).

Below are pictures of Isaac at the wedding. He spent a lot of time with his new buddy, Kaleb (my friend, Rhonda's, 11month old son).
One of the only pictures of the three of us. Thanks Monika for the picture!

They had this photobooth area where were able to take funny pics. I will have to find them and scan them in and post them next time.
We hung out a bit after the wedding, then had to say our good-bye's. We drove to Placerville to spend our last night in CA at Grandma T and Papa Mikee's house.
The next day was Mother's Day.
That was also the day we announced that.....
I am pregnant!

We were trying to find the right time to tell everyone. We wanted to wait until after my first OB appointment, but that wasn't going to be until after our trip to CA, and we thought it would be a great Mother's Day gift for everyone :)
Other then announcing that bit of exciting news, the rest of the day was spent flying back home to Maryland. We got home around 10pm or so (Isaac slept VERY little the whole day). We were so exhausted! Isaac even slept until about 9:30am the next day!
I had my first OB appointment on Monday, where they did an ultrasound to find out a tentative due date, which is December 18, 2011!
I got a referral to go to another place to get the real due date, which I will post after that happens :)
That's about it for now! Goodnight everyone!
