Campout weekend at Grandpa Black's and rolling around in clean laundry

This past weekend we made a quick trip to PA (and by quick, I mean driving up Saturday morning and leaving Sunday afternoon). It was time for the annual camp out at Matt's dad's place, which was the first time we've actually been able to go!

We got there around 11, just in time for lunch. Grandpa set up the pool ahead of time, which Isaac immediately went for and soaked himself haha.

Eventually, all the kids wanted to get into the pool, so the pictures below are from some pool fun.

I think the kids were in the pool for almost 2 hours. They all had a blast :)

That night, Matt slept in a tent with Luke, Isabella and Jake, while Mary and I slept in the basement with the two little ones with their pack-n-plays (I was worried me getting up to pee every few hours would keep waking up Isaac if we slept in the tent). Turned out to work for the best because around 12:30am, Isaac got sick all over himself. He got bathed (again), had a change of PJ's, then got sick again. Luckily, I brought three pairs of PJ's (even though we were only going to be there for 1 night... how lucky was that?!) so we changed him again. Isaac and I slept in the living room and thankfully he slept the rest of the night.

The next day on the way home, I was worried he was going to get sick in the car, but again, thankfully, that didn't happen. He did end up sleeping 4 hours total though. All that sleep helped and he was 100% himself again by the next day for daycare (turns out a few other kids from daycare were also sick over the weekend, poor kids!).

On a funny note, Isaac loves to roll around with towels now.. usually the freshly cleaned ones that just get out of the dryer.

It's kind of hard to see with the pictures.. so I actually have video!

And for exciting news, our good friends, Liv and Clarence Ling, welcomed there 2nd son last night! Liam Chuan-fu Ling was born at 10:15pm weighing a whopping 5lbs 14.7oz and 18.5 inches long. He's tiny but healthy and I cant wait to meet him!!
