14 Months old, First Baseball Game, and Happy Easter!

We had a pretty busy weekend this past week and weekend. I'm still tired just thinking about it haha!

First off, Isaac turned 14 months old!

 After his bath

He's getting SO big!!!!
And soooo smart! Well, at least I think so.

He's turned into a parrot now and basically says (or tries to say) anything we ask him too. New words are now:
"dude" he only said this a few times, but it was so cute.
"ca-cker" (cracker/cookie) - I cant open the pantry anymore without him yelling "ca-cker!!!'
"baby" - he was saying this over and over again when I picked up diapers from Costco, because there was a baby on the box.
He also points to cars in the parking lot at stores and says "car!"
He will say "choo-choo" when playing with a train puzzle piece.
He will throw or kick a ball when asked (though throwing needs some work haha)
And when he is done eating, he will lift his plate or bow and say "dooooone" in a sing-song voice.

Such a silly boy!

He had of an accident at daycare last week too. Something involving a slide (small slide, not a big one) and being pushed by another baby. He landed on his face and while it looks bad, he never acted like it hurt him. The daycare provider said that she looked him over after it happened and didn't see anything, but after his nap is when it started to show up.

"What happens at Daycare Fight Club,
stays at Daycare Fight Club" - Matt

Matt says that Isaac already knows that chicks dig men with scars... or in this case, bruises.

Like I said, it looks worse then it is, and it's already dispearing. Those pictures above were taken the day of the incident, which was last Thursday. She called me right away to tell me what happened. I could tell she felt so bad about it. Then later that day (about 5 minutes before picking him up) he trips over his own feet and hits his head and scraped it. I have a feeling this wont be the last of the black and blues.

On Saturday, the Lings had a BBQ Easter party that we went too. Isaac had a blast! Also, Grandma Deb, Papa Joe, and Aunt Bethie came down this weekend and they joined us :)

Then of course, the next day was Easter Sunday.

Goodies from the Easter Bunny... or in this case, Grandparents ;)

All set up for when Isaac wakes up

 "car!"

 "Ball!"

"woof woof" at the dogs on the book

 Checking out the bunny

 This duck quacks.. a lot!

Matt was playing with the slinky... this was a "perfect timing shot".
And no, it didn't touch Isaac.

Isaac's turn with the slinky

Isaac went to his first baseball game on Easter Sunday as well. It was Orioles vs Yankies at Camden Yards. When we left, it was tied at 3-3 at the bottom of the 9th. We had to leave though because there was a big thunderstorm about to burst open and we had to get Isaac to the car before the downpour. During the game though, Isaac did very well. He sat on our laps, played with toys, ate snacks, and tickled people haha

The view from our seats. I think if we went up 3 more isles up, we would have been at the very top. It was great though because we were in the shade the whole time.

 Sitting with Aunt Beth

Sitting in his own seat.. we had to hold the seat though because otherwise it would close on him

And that's all there is! Goodbye for now :)
