Where's Reggie?

"Where's Reggie?" Those are probably the first words out of someone's mouth first thing in the morning these days. Reggie is our Elf on the Shelf and every morning we have to go and find him in his new spot for the day. You see, as the story goes, Santa sends his little elves to watch over kids and report back if they have been naught or nice. Every night, little elves fly back to the North Pole and when they return they go to a different spot in the house. Some elves even do little pranks but so far, Reggie has been pretty tame. There is just one rule: you are not allowed to touch the elf or else his magic goes away and he won't be able to fly back to report to Santa.

Here are all the different spots Reggie has been spotted at so far at our place:

Day 1 - He showed up with an advent calendar for us!

Day 2 - Hanging out in our curtains

Day 3 - Got tangled up in our blinds

Day 4 - In the bathroom....He was reporting to Santa how Isaac was doing with potty training

Day 5 - Just "hanging" out with Buzz Lightyear AND he made us cookies!

Day 6 - Apparently he likes the Big Bang Theory and was checking out our calendar

Day 7 - Got caught in our candy jar
(which also meant that we couldn't have any
candy that day because we're not allowed to touch him)

Day 8 - He brought us a Christmas tree!

Day 9 - On our motion sensor

Day 10 - Checking out the cousins and giving them a hug

Day 11 - He put up our stockings and then got comfy in Isaac's

Day 12 - he likes bananas

Day 13 - How'd he get in THERE??

Day 14 - Just chilling by the window in the kitchen

Days 15 & 16 - We went out of town and he
stayed behind to water our Christmas tree

Day 17 - in daddy's boot

Day 18 - In our blinds

Day 19 - He made blueberry muffins for Rose's birthday! What a sweet guy!

Day 20 - He left us a Christmas Candy Treat gardening kit!
The pics below are close-ups of the "kit"
and then Isaac putting the kid together.

 Letter from Reggie with instructions

 "Soil"

 "Fertilizer"

 "Seeds"

 Isaac mixing in the fertilizer

 Planting the seeds

Finished product! Now we wait until tomorrow
morning to see if anything grows!

Day 21 - The M&M seeds grew into M&M candy tubes! YAY!

Day 22 - Reggie turned our fridge into two snow people! Awesome!

Day 23 - In our tree, with a note and some books for the kids

 Note up close

Books he left

And that concludes our Elf on the Shelf this year. Later on the 23rd we left for PA and didnt return until Christmas morning, where Reggie rejoined Santa at the North Pole. We had lots of fun with Reggie this year and can't wait till he returns next year :)
